Header overrides now available in Chrome - pmeenan - 07-21-2011 03:39 AM

We just finished adding support to the Chrome agent code for overriding the http headers so the following script commands are now also supported in Chrome:

setUserAgent
addHeader
setHeader
resetHeaders

Practically, the biggest win here is we now have a browser that supports HTML 5 that you can spoof the UA for to make it look (and behave) more like a mobile browser.

It only works for non-encrypted traffic right now - SSL support is coming soon.

Thanks,

-Pat

I do not think this is still working for SSL. Any word on that yet?
Also, out of curiosity why the custom UA string for chrome and not use the standard setUserAgent?
