Where is First Byte TIme coming from?

Hi.

I just ran a test and got an "F" 0/100 for First Byte Time.

Initial Connection: 55 ms
Time to First Byte: 1032 ms
Content Download: 776 ms
Bytes In (downloaded): 56.3 KB

I'm trying to figure out what all this means and how to fix it. Is this because of the file size of the html?

Looking for advice.
