Speed Tests and Actual UX Mismatching
I've run numerous tests on alexmncalendar.com and the results are looking respectable:
https://www.webpagetest.org/result/17120...fc2fef238/ However, most of the uncached pages that I navigate to on the site take approximately 5-10 seconds to load (timing it on my phone). Numerous others have reported a similar experience. Thank you for any insights or suggestions in advance! |

RE: Speed Tests and Actual UX Mismatching
There are advanced settings you can change before you start your test where you can choose a phone and/or limited bandwidth scenario. Also try different regions - it could be that the default location (Dulles) is close to your servers, while on your phone you're further away.
But I agree with your original statement - 2.4s is not too bad. If you want more performance suggestions, run your page through Google Pagespeed Insights. |
