Chrome Replay - LeptienM - 10-13-2011 12:03 AM Hi Pat! Awesome that you are supporting Firefox now! While testing that I saw Chrome Replay. Is that new? If yes, am I correct in the assumption, that Replay is the thing Mike Belshe wrote about? Which means mirroring a full page download in a closed controlled (network) environment? Best wishes, Markus RE: Chrome Replay - pmeenan - 10-13-2011 12:21 AM We launched Replay around the time of Velocity in June. Yes, it is the same platform that Mike was talking about ( http://code.google.com/p/web-page-replay/ ) and it basically records a page and then lets you test the same page with the back-ends completely eliminated. Setting it up you need to run Replay on a separate server and then just add the appropriate settings to the wptdriver.ini config (if you are setting it up for a private instance). Thanks, -Pat |
