Tutorial for Private Agent Installation
Is there a tutorial on How to install a private instance of the Agent on a Windows VPS and is there any minimal hardware requirement for doing that?
I try to spread WPO love for Italian guys. |

RE: Tutorial for Private Agent Installation
The configuratin in a VM is the same as a physical machine: https://sites.google.com/a/webpagetest.o...achine-s-1
If it is running in a VPS you need to make sure that the virtualization is full machine virtualization so you can install device drivers like dummynet. I usually allocate the VM's 1 GB of Ram, 20GB of HDD and 1 CPU. |

RE: Tutorial for Private Agent Installation
Ok Thanks Patrick.
Sorry I have another doubt. To install the Agent I also need installing Apache or Apache is only needed for the WPT code? I try to spread WPO love for Italian guys. |

RE: Tutorial for Private Agent Installation
Apache is only needed for the web UI. The agent code is all stand-alone (besides from the browsers).
