Visual Studio-version?
Hi Patrick,
which version of visual studio is required for developing C++-components of agent?
Professional or Ultimate?
2010, 2012, 2013?
Thanks, Nils

RE: Visual Studio-version?
The legacy IE agent (urlblast/pagetest) uses 2008 (can't upgrade to 2010 or 2012 because of the included pagespeed libs).

The newer agent (wptdriver/wpthook) uses 2010. I've been considering moving it to 2012 but haven't made the leap yet and I need 2010 anyway for other projects I work on (Chrome in particular) so there hasn't been a compelling reason to change.

They don't need anything fancy. The cheapest non-express version will work (professional I assume). Express won't work because they rely on ATL and other libraries that aren't included with express.
